Goal
This circle addresses poverty alleviation at very basic level. The aim is to mobilise and create awareness on the importance of Education amongst the pastoralist communities; HIV/Aids issues; Child rights, particularly the Girl Child. The Circle is also involved in income-generating activities to improve the members quality of life through , merry go rounds, savings and credit schemes.
The Circle has come up with other initiatives to address poverty alleviation namely; Community learning resource centre, livestock dips.
The Circle raises money from the cattle dip and provides small loans to members to start small businesses. The Circle is in partnership with Epid-Kenya, which provides capacity building information and links them to potential donors.
